Boat Detailing in Jupiter, FL

Exterior and interior, hull to hardtop, done where the boat already sits. Brian brings everything to the lift, the slip, the trailer or the dry stack, so you do not move the boat and you do not lose a weekend to it.

The work

What a full boat detail covers

A full detail is not a wash with better soap. It starts by removing everything a wash leaves behind: salt, road film, exhaust staining, waterline scum and the light oxidation that has already started on the high-sun surfaces. Only then does it move on to bringing gloss back and putting protection down.

Every boat gets looked at before a number is quoted. A three-year-old center console kept under cover and a twelve-year-old hull that has sat through two summers on a lift are completely different jobs, and you will know which one you have before any work begins.

  • Hull and topsides. Wash, decontamination, waterline and stain treatment
  • Gloss. Machine polish or compounding, depending on what the gelcoat needs
  • Non-skid. Deep cleaned without being left slick
  • Hardware and rails. Stainless cleaned and protected, hinges and latches attended to
  • Isinglass and canvas. Cleaned and treated rather than scrubbed cloudy
  • Interior. Vinyl, upholstery, helm, storage, carpet and cockpit surfaces
  • Protection. Wax, sealant or ceramic, matched to how the boat is stored and used

FAQ

Common questions

How long does a full boat detail take?
It depends on length and condition. A well-kept 24ft center console is a very different day from a neglected 35ft express cruiser. Brian tells you the realistic window when he quotes, including when it is a two-day job.
Do you work in the water, or does the boat need hauling?
Both are possible depending on the job. Above the waterline, in-slip and on-lift work is routine. Anything that needs the running surface addressed is a conversation, so tell us where the boat sits and you will get a straight answer.
Will you detail the interior only?
Yes. Cockpit, helm, vinyl, upholstery and storage on their own is a common request, especially before a season starts or a boat goes on the market.
How often should a boat be detailed in Florida?
Once or twice a year with washing in between is the pattern that keeps gelcoat from ever needing heavy correction. That is exactly what the wash plans are built around.
