Window Tinting in Jupiter, FL

Homes, commercial buildings and boats. Heat, glare and UV control across Jupiter and northern Palm Beach County, including the curved marine glass most installers will not touch.

How the work is done

Film fails at the steps most installers skip.

Window film that bubbles, peels, hazes or turns purple almost never fails because of the glass. It fails because of what happened during the install, and the four points where it goes wrong are all avoidable.

  • Contamination. Any dust or debris trapped under film sits there permanently, on a surface nobody can ever clean. The glass gets prepped properly before anything goes near it.
  • Cutting. A film edge cut short leaves a light gap you notice every day. Cut long, it lifts. Brian cuts to the glass rather than to a pattern.
  • Shrinking. Film is flat and a lot of glass is not, so it has to be heat-shrunk to the shape before installation. This is the step most installers avoid, and it is why curved glass is so often refused or done badly.
  • Film quality. Cheap film is what fails at eighteen months. Brian buys good film and will tell you exactly what is going on your glass and why.

None of that is visible in a finished job. All of it is visible in a failed one, which is the whole reason it is worth mentioning.

Not automotive. Homes, commercial buildings and boats only.
How a tint job runs

Quoted once, installed clean.

Same approach as the boat work. Look at it, quote it properly, stick to the number.

Tell us the glass

How many openings, roughly what size and which direction they face. For a boat, what the helm and cabin glass looks like.

Pick the film

Appearance, heat rejection and privacy trade off against each other. Brian explains them in plain terms rather than reciting a spec sheet.

Clean install

Prep, shrink where the glass is curved, cut, install. The parts you cannot see decide how it looks in five years.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you do automotive window tint?
No. Homes, commercial buildings and boats only.
What film brands do you carry?
Brian is particular about film quality and names it as the difference between a job that lasts and one that bubbles. Ask when you call and he will tell you exactly what is going on your glass and why.
Is there a warranty on the film?
Ask when you get the quote. It depends on the film selected, and you should know the answer before it goes on.
Can you tint curved boat glass?
Yes. It has to be heat-shrunk to the shape of the glass first, which is the step that stops most installers taking marine work at all.
How is window tint priced?
By the glass. Number of openings, size, access and the film chosen. Quoted once, and it holds.
